Very solid base

TLDR; Very solid unit that far surpasses Dremel's own (mostly plastic) router base. Great visibility. Lost a star due to fussy adjustability and lack of plunge routing capability. Still very happy to have it! Lots of pluses here: - Super simple to attach to the rotary tool and leaves easy access to controls. - Great sight line to cutting bit - Extremely sturdy and solid construction, with very good workmanship and finish - Air inlet for chip clearing is a solid plus - Attractive unit, really like the contrast between powder coat, brass and stainless steel. - Positive bit setting and easy to dial in exact depth. - No play once locked in Some cons: - Not really designed to facilitate plunge routing - very little travel in height - Fussy to dial in depth - Not clear why one support post "floats". It would have been more rigid to have both traveling in bushings w/ springs.
