CFexpress Type A Single-Slot Card Reader | USB 4.0 (PG09.6)

Much faster

I primarily use CF Express A cards and backup while traveling using a laptop. I wanted the extra speed for backing up as I'd rather be doing other things than be in my room backing up. The speed this Card Reader provides much appreciated.

Only one drawback…

This reader is seriously fast! It reads my old V2 cards faster than my previous reader, and when reading a V4 card on a USB4 port with a USB4 cable, it is much faster again (over 1500 MB/s) The one drawback is the powerful magnet on the bottom - I keep going to put it on top of an external magnetic hard drive, and there are large warnings in the box that this can damage the hard drive. I wish the magnet was removable or optional - I just don’t want it! I can’t remove it because the serial number and label are stuck to the magnet.
