Wool Dog Coat

The coat I invented in my dreams!

This coat is about as perfect as it gets and exactly what I was hoping to find when I realized my Jeffy from Texas wasn't fully enjoying long outings in his first New Hampshire winter. I've never had a dog who needed a coat! The design is simple and sensible and the coat is easy and quick to put on with two perfectly-placed and totally reliable Velcro straps. It fits great and is pretty darn streamline for when he's getting rambunctious in the woods. It doesn't bother him at all. The wool is somewhat lightweight and seems to tear a bit on broken tree branches but I'm thankful that it doesn't get snagged and hold him up and that the Velcro connection is so reliable. The tears are easy enough to mend and there's a quilted liner underneath that does not tear. I'll easily and for sure keep the Johnson wool coat in the family for my dear Jeffy's whole lifetime. It's the same coat my son had twenty years ago, my dad has, his dad had, and is beautiful, classic, and as thoughtfully and well-made-down-to-every-detail as ever. Thank you for staying awesome for all these years.

We absolutely loved the quality and fit of this on our dog. He looks adorable in the camo print.

Quality product, as I expect when purchasing from you. Our dog is a 70# Sproodle. The extra large is perfect, neck to tail. I need to take up the girth about 4" because the girth straps over lap by 4".
