Spicy Beef Egg White Ramen

Close.... sort of

I didn't really have high hopes to be honest, but... flavor wise it was pretty good. Add an egg, some ground beef and you might have had something. But the noodles...... the flavor of them was fine... nothing weird or off putting. The problem was they were WAY too thin, and they had no strength. The noodle would just dissolve at first touch. No chance of using chopsticks. So.. instead of a mouth of slurpy noodles, it was just mush. Really a disappointment as the flavor was good. But even there.... all the carbs for this package came from the flavor pack. Is there no Ramen flavoring to be had unless its got maltodextrin and sugar? It's only 8g Total carb, so it's not like it's packed with the stuff... but for me 8g is almost half my daily... for freakin maltodextrin and sugar. But.... even with that packet, if the noodles could be bigger, a little stronger, this would be a 5 for those wishing they could have a Ramen bowl

Wonderful flavor

Love the noodles, I actually added spaghetti noodles too. The one downside is the spices from the flavor packet sink to the bottom of the bowl and "muddies" the last of the soup. Therefore 4 out of 5 stars.

So much flavor!

I am not a ramen eater, but figured I’d give this a try since I’m a noodle subscriber. Very pleasantly surprised! Will definitely reorder.
