I believe it is human grade. The ingredients are straight forward. It's a bit pricy for 5 cats so I appreciated the buy 3, get one free deal. I'll wait for another deal like that. I use the air dried as treats because I don't feed kibble to my cats.

Exceptional food!

Poultry (most especially chicken) irritates my cat's nose and eyes. Searched high and low for alternative food, and Ziwi remains the VERY best, highest quality food (with many non-chicken protein alternatives)! This is the ONLY food in which she will lick the entire bowl clean-clean-clean. She absolutely LOVES this food, soI do, as well -- and it is completely worth it because she loves it, it is "not chicken," and it is great for her skin and furs.
