We are in love with the chocolate red chile pecan pie and have been sending it around the country to our friends for the holidays! It always comes fresh and a fan favorite. I'm from Georgia where pecan pies are a staple so I was very apprehensive about a chocolate pecan pie ... and then one with red chile ... but's truly an enhancement over the traditional Georgia pecan pies.

Thanksgiving Disappointment - Sicky Sweet-Inedible

I sent 11-30 via email to you all. No response at all so here it is again. Hello, I was very much looking forward to sharing the excellent baking from your bakery with my family on Thanksgiving. The Chili Chocolate Pecan Pie arrived on Wednesday in a well-protected box, but without any instructions on whether it should be refrigerated, left out, or what. It did not come in any refrigerated packing. I called the store and spoke to a man who said to keep it in the fridge until an hour or two before serving, which I did. I had really built up my expectations and shared with everyone what this would most likely taste like: divine, especially since we all loved the idea of chili and chocolate with pecans. That was certainly NOT the case. The pie was so sickeningly sweet that it was inedible. Some of our guests scraped out the filling and remarked that the crust was delicious. Most tried a bite and quit. The disappointment was doubled because I hadn’t planned for another dessert. I had such absolute faith in your bakery from my prior trips that I had it shipped to Illinois. With all that said, I am not looking for a refund.
