For instances where the dog got ahold of the headset and decided to use it as a chew-toy, or maybe the strap just didn't want to come off; you may need to have the full speaker arm replaced.
This repair can be difficult to tackle at home. The repair requires careful removal and replacing of the retaining pins that hold the piece in place.

Product works as an arm, but does not actually work as a speaker. (Yes, instructions were followed and entire teardown and repair of headset was successful due to the right arm working when powered on)
My quest has Red speaker arms, received a blue one. Not sure if this was from an older Quest 2, but it seems like the hardware might have changed. Reguardless, all i needed was the arm and i use earbuds anyway, so no real loss.

They came in great condition, but to install them is too difficult.
