*I ordered a sample set. My process was not scientific, as I sprayed each scent on a separate blank index card. I did not look at the label before each test sniff, so as not to be influenced by the name of the scent. Then I wrote down descriptor words that came to mind. After this is when I allowed myself to see the name of the scent. All of the scents lasted less than two hours when tested on my skin.*
~straight up petrichor~
The wet earth, wet pavement is there. I wanted a grassy, herby scent thrown in there, as well-- maybe a faint hint of lavender. To me, it is singularly petrichor. I'd like there to be something to soften it a bit. This would be good to layer.

I gave my dad a couple blind sniff tests - for Firefly he said it smelled a bit like dusk, in summer. Didn't expect an blind answer so close to the description! Accurate, and in turn, comforting. Thank you!
