Gorgeous kettle. It isn't all singing and dancing like some, it literally just boils water but with Alessi it is all about the design and the design is perfect.

Disappointed with this from Alessi. They make stunning pieces of design and I have been a fan for many years.
The kettle looks great but, functionally performs like something you would find somewhere else for considerably cheaper.
The base is poorly designed, having only three points of contact with the kitchen counter. This causes the kettle to rock back and forth when it is set on its base and to shake when the kettle comes to the boil.
Let down once again by a short and slippery returns policy.
