HOBIE 14 MAIN HALYARD W/SHACKLE
Main halyard with shackle for Hobie 14 with all-aluminum mast (no CompTip) is constructed to factory specifications. A main halyard is used to raise the main sail. Compare to Hobie Cat® #10651001

H-14 MAIN HALYARD WITH SHACKLE

The Hobie 16 main halyard comptip is used to raise the main sail on a Hobie 16 with a comptip on the mast. The main halyard comptip features a long rope section connected to a shorter wire section with a stopper and halyard shackle with a captured pin. The shackle connects to the head of the main sail and the stopper hooks into the main halyard hook and holds the sail up.

Comptip masts are stock on all Hobie 16s since 1986. A comptip is the 10' fiberglass upper mast section of the mast 20617001

Ronstan Halyard Shackle, 1/4" Pin

The Ronstan Halyard Shackle with Twist Pin's main advantage is that you cant loose any of it once its attached. The top pin holds it on and the bottom pin dose not come out. Never loose your shackle pins again!

H14/16 Main Halyard Hook

The main halyard hook is used on the Hobie 14, Hobie 16, Wave, Getaway, Prindles, Sol Cats and Nacras that use a wire halyard. Use two 6-4 rivets (#19-5031) and two casings (#19-5020) for installation.

H-14/16 MAIN HALYARD HOOK

3/16 VLS Control Line -VLS stands for Very Low Stretch. It is a double braid control line, meaning it has a core and exterior sheath for strength and duability. The smooth exterior texture is easy on your hands, is durable and grips well in cleats.

3/16" VERY LOW STRETCH CONTROL LINE 5MM

halyard, outlhaul, downhaul, trampoline lacing and control line. For use on all Dinghies, Beach Catamarans, Nacra, Prindle, Hobie cats as well as big boats.

Dacron Spun Braid 5/16

The Dacron Spun Braid 5/16 is very low-stretch and has a soft, fuzzy surface that offers excellent grip and make it easy on the hands. Ideal for use as a jib or spin sheet. 100% polyester braided core with a spun polyester braided cover. Sold per foot. Spools are 600′. Dacron Spun Braid is a very soft and durable line at an economical price. If you are interested in a premium sheeting line we recommend Robline Racing sheet Pro.

Hobie rivet casings sleeves seal rivets to prevent water penetration. When used with a rivet they seal the hole to prevent water from getting through the center of the rivet. Rivet Casings are recommended for use on all rivets on the mast to keep the mast water tight. Compatible with all 3/16 diameter rivets up to 5/8" long. Compatible with all rivets on Hobie, Nacra and Prindle catamarans except traveler tracks. Requires 13/64" hole. Hobie part number 8011291, 8011290, also called rivet cap.

Dacron Spun Braid 3/8″

The Dacron Spun Braid 3/8″ is very low-stretch sheeting line and has a soft, fuzzy surface that offers excellent grip and make it easy on the hands. It features a 100% polyester braided core with a spun polyester braided cover. The 3/8″ diameter is ideal for mainsheets on Hobies, Nacra and Prindle Catamarans. Sold per foot. Spools come in 600′. We recommend Dacron Spun Braid line for recreational cat sailors, it has a nice hand feel, cleats well and runs thru the blocks well. D
