Mold disaster and collapsed under minimal snow

This tent was the absolute worst thing we could’ve invested in. Our family needed a reliable shelter while we built our off grid home. Within a month of having it up it became completely covered in mold, despite being out in an open sunny field, with mowed grass, and we bought a fan to have running inside 24/7 for air circulation. Eventually we could not keep up with the mold treatment and mold ran from the floor up to the peak and my daughter was getting mold sickness. We had to move out and into our unfinished cabin. Then about 3 weeks after we moved out we got about 2in of snow which caused the center pole to bend IN HALF and collapse the tent. Thank god we were no longer living in it at that point. FYI this is the SECOND White Duck Bell tent that we had that collapsed completely under the weight of minimal snow. These tents are marketed well to be for outdoors folk but I think they should stay in their lane for outdoor influencers and instagram posers… this tent and our other regatta tent are NOT rugged or well built for a true outdoor lifestyle. If you camp a few times a year in dry, desert landscape then maybe this tent is for you. Anything else, please save yourself the money and go somewhere else. The costumer service team is also a nightmare to work with and the best they could offer us was a laughable “15% off our next purchase”. DO BETTER WHITE DUCK
