Good price point and warmth

Affordable and high quality wool mesh baselayer. First time trying mesh baselayers but now sold on the idea. As another reviewer mentioned, being mesh there is a little care required when putting them on, as well as any exposure to hook/loop surfaces (or zippers). However surprisingly warm (or at least warm feeling which is what matters) and also very packable. Also naturally very breathable and no odour issues, though have not really put them through much serious activities.

I ordered both the top and bottoms of the merino mesh base layers. I have to say they are rather surprisingly warm for being a mesh weave. I wouldn’t have believed it. Because they are of mesh construction you have to be careful not to to snag the mesh while putting them on. But they are worth having a set in your winter wardrobe.
