Better resistance and I can blow with stronger airflo in the flute registers.

Very happy with sound ring both on my c and alto flute, indeed. C flute Sterling silver, and gflute silver plated. All registers on my flutes resonate and sing far better. Thats why I ordered one for alto. I can blow more into the horns without cracking in middle register, the resistance is new and much better with sound rings.

A small great accessory to make the most of our air !

I own a Kingma-Brannen alto flute with soldered tone holes, an outstanding instrument with a great resonance. It needs a lot of air. Since I put the Woodify for alto flute on it, my air is better exploited, the sound is more concentrated and I find it easier to make forte in the low register without "breaking" it. The Woodify provides additional support throughout all the flute range without diminishing the sound - it even makes the sound a little more expressive sometimes. I am very satisfied !
