When I first received my red acrylic octobans, which look absolutely stunning! I was also pleasantly surprised to see how well built they really are! The sound is penetrating, very focused and distinct! I have not played them extensively at this point, but so far, they seem to maintain their tuning. Not only do they add another unique dimension of sounds to my kit, they also enhance the overall Aesthetics! A big shout out and thanks to Thomas and the R&L drum staff for their personable, professional, efficient and expedient customer service approach and attitude. I'll be looking forward to doing business with R&L drums in the near future. Thanks guys, YOU ROCK!!

Other than the rim being a little dented which could've happened in shipping. Awesome little drum. Sounds great!
