Comfort layer & sofa

I love the look & the size of the sofa and ottoman that I purchased. It’s just not as comfortable as I had hoped it would be. The pillows and cushions are very hard and I’m just hoping that over time they’ll soften. Purchasing the comfort layer helped a little bit but not the way I thought it would
