Easy to Install, Bring Your Own Screws

-1 star for the self-tapping screws that are included. They might be made out of butter. That being said, it was easy to pick some up at the local hardware. Pre-drilled pilot holes made the install a breeze on the Max+ and the pre-wired connector makes connecting them to my truck a breeze.

Lights good; mounting hardware not so much.

The lights, in and of themselves, worked great so far. Although time will tell when subjected to “not so ideal conditions, ie heavy rains and such. Should have some kind of rubber seal between lighting mounting backplate and tubular main carrier body. The self tapping screws provided in the kit were not robust enough to tap and thread through the predrilled holes of the MotoTote carrier. Used a tap wrench and purchased SS machine screw in lieu of the provided screws. Carrier should have threaded screw holes with appropriate machine screws provided to mount lights.

Very nice light kit

I'm liking the light kit, but it could use a couple improvements. The back of the lights should be curved to mate to the round tube. Also the supplied soft stainless self tapping screws did not work so well, broke off two of them during installation. I ended up drilling out the original holes and tapping them to 4mm threads, then using 4mm bolts.
