Essential
This is a pretty essential add-on for anyone who plans to drive for an extended period on public roads and highways with a MotoTote carrier. Honestly, for $800-$900, it should be included with the Max and Max+ carriers. Installation is very simple. DO NOT overtighten fasteners or you may crack the plastic housing. Plenty of length in the wiring/plug. Very satisfied with quality and operation. Didn't have an issue with quality of included screws, but did use larger zip ties as the ones included are somewhat thin and the bare minimum length.

Carrier Tail Light Kit - Review
I ordered the lighting kit along with the M3 rack. It works very well. Well made and should last for a long time. I did read the reviews and I avoided the fasteners that came along with the kit. I used some quality self-tappers and it mounted perfect.

Mototote Light Kit
I wanted this light kit for the M3 motorcycle carrier I purchased from Mototote. The kit was delayed/backordered for quite some time but when I received my lights they installed and worked perfectly, I’ve seen the reviews about the mounting screws not holding up so I was ready with some of my own but ended up not needing them as the kit screws worked just fine ( must have updated the screws in the kit and maybe that was the reason for the shipping delay?) As with any self tapping screw and plastic components you just can’t over tighten !
My motorcycle when loaded on the back of my van blocked my taillights so these lights helped a lot to be seen and are very bright
So far very happy and they work great
