Great knife

Again love this knife as it filled a spot that I was missing. It very comfortable to use and works well for hogging out a lot of wood fast but you can still control it. I carve a lot of 2” basswood and its great. Very easy to keep a nice edge on it. This is my 5th knife from Deepwoods and I have not been disappointed. I have also had tips but back in and enjoy visiting the shop.

Wish I knew about Deepwood Ventures way before now

I have been carving and woodworking for nearly 4 decades and had never heard of Deepwood Ventures. Once I was enlightened, I purchased one of their skinny sloyd knives (mostly for spoon making) and it quickly became my go-to tool when I needed detail. Historically, I have used Pfeil knives and my DV knife performs even better and I find that it takes and retains an edge more effectively. Further, the handle was not only aesthetically beautiful but also very ergonomic and comfortable in the hand. Thanks guys. You make a product of which you should be very proud.
