Best Knives on the market
I love Deepwood Venture knives. As of writing this (2025), they have the best knives on the market in my opinion. I've tried Helvie, Drake, OCCT, Flexcut, Beavercraft, and a few others.
Specifically for this knife, I love the shape of the handle. It fits very will in your hand and is very comfy. I modded mine with a leather grip and it's my favorite knife.
The blade is long and thin to get into small spaces and make tight turns. It has a thick spine (and more obtuse angle) which I like for better durability and edge retention.
The only thing I would change would be to make the less "slick". I modded mine with a leather grip to make it more comfortable, but that isn't totally necessary.
You can't go wrong with this knife!

New favorite
Each time I get a new knife from Paul, it becomes my new favorite. Like all his other knives, the Draper Detail holds an edge real well.
