Model 3 & Y & S & X Frunk Electric Suction Soft Closing Lock for Model 3 Highland/ Y Juniper/2026 Standard

While the product aims to correct a major oversight on Teslas, the product quality is very questionable. I fear the product will release and allow the hood to open while driving. It closes properly 50% of the time. The other 50% involves the lid attempting to close and then rising an inch above the normal closed position. I have read horror stories of the soft close mechanism getting stuck in the closed position, requiring the removal of the frunk hood to regain access to the frunk. No amount of adjustment prevents my issues with this item. Removal of the limit switch, adjusting the frunk lid bumbers inward, and adjusting the position of the frunk latch and soft close mechanism did nothing to alleviate the issue. I am attempting to receive a refund but Tlyard customer service leaves much to be desired. I have had to escalate the issue with my bank to dispute the charge. I would gladly pay more for a higher quality item.

Bonjour, les produits sont de super qualité livraison c’est super bien passé. Installation sans souci, dommage, il manquerait une notice de montage ou un lien d’une vidéo dans les boîtes. Mais je recommande vivement ces produits et le site.
