Black Dahlia Active Lens

Great clarity, love the lens. Issue I found was it was slightly too large for my flip front pipeliner lid. I had to modify so the sensors weren’t blocked. I work inside large vessels in the dark and the first time I strike an arc I have to close my eyes because it takes 2 seconds for it to switch to dark, after that if I weld continuously it’s fine. When I stop to wire wheel and start a new pass I again have to close my eyes for the 2 seconds for it to switch. Outside of a vessel in the shop welding pipe it works perfectly fine. I’m unsure if it’s a design flaw or what. As I said it’s amazing colour a clarity, the active lens works great except in the low light conditions.
