XVX Skyline R2 - Low Profile PBT Double-Shot Keycap Set

RGB really pops with this keycap set

Options are limited when it comes to low profile keycaps that give great results when it comes to shine through. 10/10 on this! These keycaps are perfect for north facing LEDs. Pictures I’ve included are of keycaps installed on a Keychron K5 Max. I took these pictures mid afternoon, natural light. Pops even more at night in a dark room. Design suggestion - it’d be great to have some additional keycaps and legends for full size keyboards that have additional keys. I had a set of the XVX black keycaps that included some white keys, so I had some spares to cover the additional 4 keys above the num pad on this keyboard. I do have a concern with the coating, it’s been less than a month of daily use and am already experiencing key surfaces wearing - going shiny/smooth. The legend itself isn’t impacted, just the texture of the surface. Out of all of the keys delivered in my kit, one single key had a small deformation of its stem that resulted in the key sticking. Nothing a bit of very fine grit sandpaper, a small exacto knife & some careful work didn’t fix. Overall, I’m extremely happy, just hoping the key surfaces don’t all go smooth/shiny too quickly.

Pretty good shine through keycaps. A bit taller profile than keychrons caps, but fits great- no adjustments needed. Love that white accent keys are also included

Good product, but customer service can be hit and miss

Great alternative low profile shine through keycaps for Lofree FLow84 Keyboard which doesn't come with shine-through but has a great keycap profile which I like as I notice better typing speed and accuracy with the Lofree caps. So wanted replacements with similar profile but with Shine-Through. Choice was between these XVX SKyline R2 and some Nuphys. The shine-through is pretty good on the XVX But I think I Nuphy profile is a bit more preferable but the XVX are pretty close, maybe just a fraction taller than what is ideal for my preference. The time between order and delivery was excellent. The only reason I say customer service wasn't awesome was because I ordered the WOB set which included a few BOW keycaps, which I ended up liking so wanted a few more individual pieces of BOW keycaps. Asked XVX if they sold individually. Customer service did respond and say they don't and I would have to purchase a complete set but as an existing customer they offered me a 50% discount voucher on a complete BOW set. I replied I would like to take up the offer of a 50% discount but then I never heard from them again and never received my 50% off voucher for the BOW complete set. Which was a bit disappointing.
