Navy Blue Shell Cordovan

I ordered this strap to replace the strap the watch came with as I was not happy with several aspects of it even though it was brand new. As usual, the strap from Veblenist was delivered ahead of time, despite customisation. The quality of the strap was perfect in every way, including the full border stitching which is very even and consistent. The customised size of the tongue slot and holes it so I could fit my IWC buckle are perfect. The Cordovan leather is something you have to see to fully appreciate, and due to the nature of it, it is very versatile allowing the watch to take on a dressier appearance, while also being entirely suitable for casual wear.

The customer service is awful. I had to wait weeks to get my watch strap. I followed up with Veblenist several times without hearing from anyone. Eventually I did hear from someone who told me they would get back to me with an update. Despite several emails they never did. On my last email I threatened to request a refund through my credit card company and the next day I got an email telling me my watch strap was being mailed out. I received the watch strap one month after ordering. I now have the strap and am very disappointed. The strap is very thin and feels cheap. It is not what I expect from a shell cordovan watch strap that cost $145 !
