Terrific Fabric! Odd Stitching.

Here's what I love about these. A buttery soft, 6.4 oz fabric truly delivers that premium feel. The extra weight means they drape well, which is oftentimes an overlook detail when it comes to how a garment looks on the body, at least in men's clothing. And of course, they function pretty much like a lightweight sweater on their own, due to the thickness, and are perfect for the cooler temperatures of early to mid fall. No poly of course, so retaining shape may be an issue later on, depending on care. I air dried these after a light machine wash and, to my surprise, they seemed to lose a little shape, ie. slightly baggy. But I prefer that to shrinkage, which I've had no issues with. Here's what I don't love about these. Stitching. The seams running up the arms - on the inside - are unbelievably itchy. Not sure if the stitch pattern is conventional, but it creates what's essentially a thin "strip" of thread that folds outward on either side into an "edge". You don't feel it at first, but after it's been in contact with the skin for a while it becomes more pronounced - to the point where it's nearly unwearable. And I've only had these for a few weeks. On the outside, these same seams appear to be coming apart ever so slightly. I'm not sure if this is part of the design, but it's concerning that I can see the threads.
