Delightfully soothing
This was a quick build, with easy color differentiation, but it rewards slow study afterwards for the charming whimsies and connectors, from the duck head in the marsh to the half bird flying in from the edge of the sky. I particularly love the two-piece whimsy of the parent bird feeding baby birds in a bird house. And the five-piece alternate solution makes excellent use of color cutting to sketch a landscape in miniature.

No hesitation in buying this series
As soon as this series was announced as "coming soon", I kept track of its availability for ordering. Catherine Robertson's images are stunning and capture the beauty of the Canadian west coast. I thoroughly enjoyed finding the thematic whimsies - from this and the other 2 puzzles in this series - to create yet another mini-puzzle.

Wonderful Gift!
This puzzle was a Christmas gift for my sister. Never having done a wood whimsy puzzle before, she couldn't wait to get started. She absolutely loved it and found the experience really enjoyable. This couldn't have been a more perfect image for her, as it almost mirrors where she lives! She & hubby are on the golf course at Semiahmoo Resort, Blaine, WA and look out at all kinds of wildlife and birds every day - herons, ducks and geese are plentiful near the pond and on the greens. I have included a photo of the view from their patio she faced as she did the puzzle. Her husband received the mini "Knight Watch", and they traded off, so each got double the pleasure of a StumpCraft puzzle!
