2022-2026 Subaru WRX Kogeki V4 Duckbill

I noticed brown-ish dirt looking stains from under the spoiler and I couldn't get it to go away. I removed it to investigate the situation, and it turns out water had gotten into the duckbill and was rusting the cheap helicoil inserts and my trunk lid where I used the mounting bolts to secure it to the car. I cleaned it up, used touch up paint in the area that the paint was eaten away to seal it, and cleaned the rust stains (as best I could) off my white paint. I had no choice but to put it back on because the staining is noticeable and I was unable to buff it out. I can't get a different duckbill because it may not completely cover the area with damaged paint. I will eventually have to replace my entire trunk with a carbon fiber one, or order a replacement from Subaru.

Looks good, low quality control

The good: Paint is perfect, well matched. The bad: Bolt holes did not line up with factory spoiler holes as intended thus creating gapping and minor issues. While the product is nice quality for the price, I would at least expect a little better fitment is all.

First purchase from AFD and am very satisfied. The paint match and finish quality was just ad expected. I know the install wouldn’t be difficult but it would have been nice to have a simple printout of instructions or a qr code for one.
