Iwata Professional Airbrush Maintenance Tools

The tools are needed, but too expensive!

The nozzle wrench is a must have - so are the soft jaw pliers. The needle holder is nice to have, but I own three airbrushes. So, I wouldn't know the sizes of the needles if all were in the holder. The case is very nice. It can hold two airbrushes, but not the Iwata NEO for Iwata TRN1, w/ air trap attached. It is too long for the case. Overall, I am satisfied with the kit. Even though I haven't used the other tools, they are specialized to fit my airbrushes. About the cost, I bought the kit from Spraygunner because it was half the price. But, it was still too expensive for my taste.

Right tools for the job

I have had my Iwata eclipse HP-CS for going on 6 years and have never done anything but clean it thoroughly and replace the nozzle. Had been having trouble with the paint going back up the gun from the pot to the trigger. Finally found the needle seal kit, (not listed on the parts list), ordered it and also the tool kit. I don't know how I would have changed the seal kit, properly, without the screwdriver in the kit. Haven't had to mess with the air valve yet, but it looks like the tool in the kit will do the job, and the nozzle wrench works great. The non marring pliers work great also and keep from scratching the finish. All in all I could have probably jury-rigged the tools needed to do the work, but why risk it when the right tools are available
