Disappointing performance

I have tried the Cortex deck screw for the first time and I've been disappointed by the weakness of its Torx head. I was able to compare this product with the screws made by Starborn which have a wider collar around the point of bit insertion. Whenever you hit an obstacle like a hidden screw, the head of the Cortex screw immediately slips, wearing out the indentation and making it very difficult to extract the screw afterwards. I found the Starborn screw is more robust as its head remains intact after hitting an obstacle. I think those Cortex screws should be made with a Robertson type hole or be made with a denser metal.
