Roasted Shrimp Salt – Combo Pack, Mild & Spicy

I was very disappointed with Grandpa Kong Shrimp Salt. The product does not taste like shrimp salt to me because there is barely any noticeable salt flavor. Instead, the taste is heavily dominated by MSG and sugar. There are also a lot of hard clumps throughout the product. The sugar appears to have hardened into rock-like pieces, which makes it difficult to use and affects the overall quality. I really want to support small businesses, but this product needs significant improvement. The sweetness and MSG taste should be reduced, and there needs to be noticeably more salt for the flavor to actually resemble shrimp salt. Unfortunately, I would not buy this product again unless the recipe is improved.

Can't stop buying mangoes because of this. Definitely new favorite sprinkles!

Super yummy. The spicy one is Ultra spicy hot but has the umami flavor.
