I know what you are thinking.. "A $100 dollar speed square? My $12 Swanson has been doing me just fine for years.But all those cool flashy features..." Do you need this? No, absolutely not. And if you are a homeowner DIY hobby enthusiast just buy the tried and true Swanson or whatever Home Depot special feels best in your freshly lotioned hands.But if you touch your speed square more than you touch your wife. If you havent had a day with your bags off since you dropped out of the first grade. If you know what all those fancy flashy features of this over priced piece of metal are actually for then maybe you should take that hard earn money and splurge a little.. I did and I have to say ever time I strike a line I get a little hit of joy. Then again I do use a Pica pencil so what do I know.
