Astronomer's Tent

For my F-250 the 19122 seems a little short. Truck box inside measurement is 6' 8". The 19122 was the recommended model so I'll try to achieve better placement of the tent in future use. Condensation inside the tent can be considerable. To improve ventilation, I'll be adding small plastic tubes with velcro squares that prop the fly and keep it away from the sides of the tent. Propping the fly away from the tent will also help it shed water away from the side of the tent during rain. The black vinyl coating on the inside of the tent does not allow any light into the tent so a headlamp etc. is needed even during the day. The tent will be perfect for astronomer type campers that sleep during the day because it is 100% blackout in the tent during daylight.

Great value. Easy set up. Perfect for camping off the ground. Works with my soft roll up tonneau cover. Love the fact that it has a floor. No mosquitoes or bugs.
