This soft upper die for our Arbor press will really let you stretch metal quickly and accurately. The effect can be similar to the walnuts that a hammer and a shot bag produce, or more gentle doming just by changing the lower die you are pushing onto. I use this in the shop quite often to make a nice detail in a part with a flat lower die
