It was great, except...

The only negative is the fact that it doesnt allow you to protect the front element from direct damage or from dust with a uv filter. So now when I am going to go shooting out in the desert(I live in Nevada) I take the Auto lens cap off, put a UV filter and the standard Leica brand lens cap to protect the lens. Leica should make a deeper auto cap like the aftermarket manufacturer JJC makes, and I have one on order.
