MINDBLOWING layered, icky alone!
Unlike some scents that are nice fixatives for layering (Escentric Molecules Molecule 01, Juliette Has a Gun Not a Perfume) I did not care for this at all on its own. There was a sickly sweet note in the gourmand sense of something almost curdled, and an overripe fruity sweetness as well, like cantaloupe sitting out in the sun for hours at a picnic. But it absolutely did what it said it would when layered under another of my samples, Room 1015 Jasmine Freak, which I loved but which won’t stay on me at all. It massively improved the projection of that scent. I got a little better longevity as well. I’m pleased and excited to layer this under some even stronger performing fragrances and see the results! I’d recommend giving this one a try! Edited to add: tried it under Arquiste Misfit which is a medium performer on me alone, neither poor nor great. It again improved projection and gave Misfit over 8 hours of wear. Edit #2: This stuff is undeniable. I bought a full bottle after getting addicted. Everything I wear is better with this under it.
