Prevailing Strength

This is one of the most beautiful pictures Vanessa has painted! I love so many, but this is one of my favorites. It is so beautiful and real looking as if I'm looking right into the face of this lion. When I was a tiny girl, I was afraid in the night and turned to see God walking with his lion near me, and I felt the safety of his presence and the love of knowing he was close to me and watching over me. My focus was on the lion next to the lighted body of God - too small to see all of God through the doorway. This memory has stuck with me for over 55 years. Thank you for this beautiful image and reminder.
