I think the mod was super cool looking as well as its ability to actually stop the ringing. The bite marker also helps out a ton with the blade being nearly identical on each side. I typically stray away from handle markers but I think its a necessary thing on a knife such as the zenith. It also makes the balance a lot better because initially, I wasn't a fan of the zenith, and then oncve I bought this, it quickly became one of my favorites. I do wish I could do both the bali boot and the bite marker but its a tradeoff I'm willing to take. Overall, a great product worth the money.
