favorite candle found -- after twenty years

I've been buying candles for the last twenty years. They're vital to my meditation and ritual practices. And I can confidently say that of the hundreds of candles I've burned, the new line from M. Hainey Studios is the absolute best. For the following four reasons: 1. Clean burn: they burn clean all the way to the edge, no matter how many times you burn them. They don't form a wax well. Many candles fail that litmus test, especially when you burn them a second, third time. See the pictures that show the candle at different wax levels. 2. Non-smoking wick: because Mason uses an organic cotton wax and no artificial ingredients, so the wick doesn't produce a lot of smoke when you put it off and/or light it again. 3. Consistent, authentic fragrance: The botanical fragrances in this candle line mean that they do not leave a chemical smell in the air and the fragrance remains consistent all the way to the end. 4. Tactile vessel: the vessels are both gorgeous to look at and have a beautiful texture when you hold them. I can picture having my morning cup of green tea in it once the candle is burned. Mason outdid himself with this new line of candles that more than candles: they are each an experience, one that I highly recommend treating yourself to.

One of my favorite artists and company's to support. Everything is beautifully and thoughtfully crafted, very high quality and excellent attention to detail. This candle smells lovely and I love that it is sustainable and can be repurposed to enjoy a cup of tea.
