I have owned a couple of Kifaru Items and bags throughout the years and the quality of Kifaru is simply unmatched .Iam currently running an old Nomad Gen.1 with a Camp Bag .I just love the versatility of the Pack and the Lid is a nice addition giving me some more options out in the field.Only downside is the expensive shipping and Import tax when ordering from Europe but that is due to politics and not the manufacturers fault. Guide lid saved the trip.

Purchased the guide lid just before a backpacking trip to Kings Peak in Utah. I used it as a daypack to summit Kings. Was able to weave a 3L hydropak into the carry handle on the lid using the integrated shoulder straps. That extra water came in really important for our group of 15 as we hit the summit midday and with no water source up top.
