Opal Leaf Hand Painted Mini Drop Earrings - Turquoise

Very fragile

I love the look of these earrings - the designs and patterns are lovely but they are very fragile, the leather they are painted on is very thin. The holes for the hooks and joining rings are hole punched so close to the edge that I fear it won’t be long before they tear through. The hook that goes through your ear also sits strangely so that the end of the hook sits out at right angles to your head rather than sitting parallel against your head like most earrings. I lost one of mine already because it came easily detached from the metal hook - I am guessing when I took my coat off (so just from bumping it gently) Luckily a friend found it on the ground outside where I was working. I re-attached it and my husband had to use pliers to clip the loop down tighter so that the decorative leather piece could not come off again.
