New to DPNs

I've been utilizing magic loop, but wanted to add DPNs to my arsenal for specific projects. They're much stronger than I thought they'd be and the grippy-ness is prefect to not let them drop if I'm not paying close attention to the needles I'm not working on.

Getting over my mental sock block

I bought these needles because after knitting for 50(!) years I have decided to see what the sock fuss is about. I read in a book that bamboo needles would be a good place to start because the needles would help “grip” my tiny stitches. So far, so good!
