I purchased a Yo-link Water Depth Sensor that was not working correctly and I contacted Yo-link customer service, troubleshot the device with them and they had a replacement to me in about a week. I appreciate the fact that they stand by their product and are quick to correct any problems. I have many Yo-link devices and they work as advertised!

Easy Setup and Accurate

I am using this water depth sensor to measure the water level in a shallow well on my property. I use the well to irrigate my garden and I like to monitor the ground water level throughout the year. The well is a distance of 40 feet from the house and the YoLink hub is inside the house. The probe measures water pressure to calculate depth and not sonar like some other products. With this sensor, you drop the probe to the bottom of the well or tank and the cable connects from the probe to a small computer. Setup was easy and the device connects to Wifi. I can check the water depth on my phone and configure alerts for low and high levels. There are line graphs for showing daily, monthly or yearly levels. Data can be exported to a CSV file. You can input the known depth of your well or height of your tank and the app will report the full percentage. I verified the depth accuracy with a ruler, and it was very accurate. Keep in mind this sensor will only work in water depths up to 5 meters (16.4 feet). The pressure probe model in the package only measures water depths from 0 to 5 meters. Also, the probe has a 5 meter cable that connects to a small microcomputer. If used outside, make sure to protect the computer from water. I purchased a waterproof outdoor electrical box to hold the computer. If used outside, I recommend protecting the cable from rodents because I had a mouse chew on the sheathing and damaged the cable. I wrapped the cable in wire mesh to prevent rodent damage. There are few products like this one in this price range. Although expensive, I recommend the YoLink water depth sensor for professionals and homeowners.

Missing Item in Shipment

I only received the Water Depth Sensor. The Hub was missing and was not included in the package I received.
