E9X / E8X Steering Wheel Paddle Delete Kit

Upon installation the part came apart.

The idea is sound. But the actual product isn’t. The rivet needs to be properly seated and restrained. Also the screw is very skinny and slops around a lot. It just isn’t well made.

Covers the paddle shifter hole pretty well

I got it to try it out on a e90 m sport steering wheel with paddles on it (despite the description saying it would not fit), and it fit like a glove! There's only a small amount of play on the L shape, but that can be solved by just gluing that section in place if it really bothers you. Even if it didn't fit correctly, I would've still recommended it as it beats having the paddles there.
