Bix 30 Gel - Salted Strawberry

I can’t express how bix products have made cycling in Malaysia is joy! As a Northern European I couldn’t understand why my typical brands of electrolyte and gels didn’t work. The answer, they aren’t made for the heat and humidity of south east Asia. I’m now a total convert to all bix products, they have saved me so many times. The gels taste great and most importantly for me, stopped cramps!

These are possibly the best tasting gels I’ve had yet! Even though they are flavoured I find they aren’t too sweet and the 300g of sodium is so nice to have as it means I don’t have to carry as many supplemental electrolytes. It’s become a staple for my long trail runs during marathon training.

My first marathon using Bix and it was the first marathon I have not cramped up. I used the gels every 7kms and the hydration tablets at 10km, 20kms and 30kms
