The ICON Trailer Lock

Great option

I did a lot of research before buying this lock. After receiving it I'm sure it will do it's job. It's a bit heavier than I expected. My daughter and wife sometimes has issues installing it because if it's weight, but, they are getting better at it. It's easy to lock and unlock and will keep the trailer safe. I made a good choice. Please just know, it's heavier than it looks.

The ICON Trailer Lock

I researched locks for our new travel trailer and ended up between ICON and the Proven Industries locks. I liked the option of having the chains locked up with the Proven Lock and they both seemed very hard to break into. I then came across a video of just using a small drill bit to drill into the Proven Industries lock round puck and it was very easy to get the lock off, so there was my answer of which to buy. I can't see any way anyone could break into or break off the Icon lock. It does weight 20lbs, but I definitely feel like no one could steal our brand new travel trailer with this on it. I do have a little trouble getting the key into the lock occasionally, but I think that only makes it harder for anyone else without a key to try to pick it or break into. I only wish it had the chain lock feature incorporated into it. Other than that minor issue, I am very happy with it and do recommend this lock for your trailer.
