Kendrick Astro Bahtinov Focus Masks (BMC-60)

Tried using this mask with my Williams Optic 50mm uniguide with a Zwo ASI178mm camera. Did not have luck focusing through the mask, no crosses show up through the stars, only get a triple star pattern, so could only line them up and checked with focus without mask. I think the guide scope is too small to work with the mask.
