Sizing by a human still didn’t fit.

I was going to order it on line but when I called for help the guy I spoke to advised me to go to the store. I did that and the shirt was too small so the lady gave me a bigger shirt. When the jacket came it was too small it didn’t fit me. I had to request a bigger size jacket. So what was the reason I went to the store to get measured and two things were the wrong size.
