I got this to bridge the gap between work and home or if I am out hiking in the backcountry. I was looking for a smaller lightweight charger and this is perfect. The secret to using it is to attach it at about 50% and it charges full on my 17 promax. Its a 5 watt 1 amp output and if you plan on using the phone while magnetic charging it will basically use as much as it is consuming. The current draw of an iphone 17 is about .87 amps and 4 watts. So if you need a powerful model use the larger battery they offer here. But for backup charging and emergencies this is the best I found. One hack I found for faster charging is to plug the phone in to the battery and you will double the charging speed.
