It’s funny how little things can spike a spot of satisfaction in life. This waxed thread is one of those little things, but it’s a big thing for me. It’s of professional quality. It’s strong, perfectly waxed, easy to thread in a needle and pleasant to work with. I use the .045 thickness and is just right for my leather saddle and tack repairs, outdoor gear, shoes, and more. I’ve been using a heavy nylon thread that my neighbor uses in sewing and designing Patagonia products. I’d rub beeswax into it as I’d go. It’s strong but was a pain. But now I will exclusively be using this Maine thread. I get better and preferential results. I wish I had knowledge of this thread decades ago. I’m equally glad I didn’t go cheap and spent the money to buy the appropriate needles to use with this thread. I’ve been using regular sharp sewing needles but now am enlightened of the difficulty I put myself through in using them. Thanks Maine Thread Company for making my day!

Art cord

We use the heaviest waxed cord for hanging all the art in our gallery… it has never failed us. Maine Thread is always prompt in its delivery. I am so glad I found this solution for our unique nail less hanging system.
