Maine Thread is my bookbinding mainstay!

I've been ordering from Maine Thread for over 25 years, as I developed my artistic practice as a fiber sculptor and book artist. While I use natural linen in some pieces, for sheer strength and versatility I rely on Maine's waxed polyester thread. The colors are consistent and stay bright under normal use. Fiber strands are smooth, with almost no variation in width: important in beadwork! I could not do my art without Maine Thread, or the people who make this company extraordinary!
