I love this company. I ordered my latest batch of thread on a Tuesday morning and it arrived less than 24 hours later. A couple of years ago, I got tired of waiting for other people to make and sell the things I need for life up here in the north Maine woods, so I started making them myself. I use mostly canvas and leather, and all my thread comes from the Maine Thread Company. It is strong. The thread has never failed on me. It is easy to work with. The wax on the thread is easy on my fingers, for which I am grateful, since I do everything by hand. The range of colors they offer is more than enough to satisfy any project I have worked on. The price is also very reasonable. Finally, I appreciate that this is an American company and, I have to imagine, is a real benefit to the people of Lewiston, Maine. Thank you for a great product and for great service, too.
